The Hamburg native has an extensive portfolio ranging from fashion, beauty, advertising and art. He specializes in black and white photography and believes that all his photo's hold a story. Carsten's unusual eye evokes that dynamic shot that is intriguing, even eerie in some of his work, yet his photos always seem to brilliantly capture the essence of beauty. Thomas Dodd | Visionary and PreRaphaelite inspired photographer
The artwork that Thomas Dodd creates is visionary in scope and dualistic in nature. Light and darkness, life and death, and beauty and horror exist side by side in his creations. Mythological and religious themes abound in his work; sometimes with a twisted tongue-in-cheek approach, and at others reverently paying homage to the Old Master traditions that influence his vision.
Although his artwork resembles paintings, it is actually in the realm of photography, but Dodd's creations are much more than mere manipulated photos. There is an overall cohesiveness and attention to textures that one does not usually find in most digital art. His images have an organic feel that never looks assembled or computer-generated and he shuns the commonly used digital ''cut and paste'' cliches, preferring instead to asemble his scenery, costumes, and models at the time of principal photography. There are many layers to Dodd's work and his pieces can yield new interpretations upon multiple viewings. His symbolic and psychological approach to art is a truly unique and multi-faceted vision.

Daniel Borris | Professional photographer | Dogs and Kittens Yoga

Inoltre Worth1000 e gli utenti hanno creato tre libri sulla manipolazione delle immagini "When Pancakes Go Bad", "I've Got a Human in my Throat" e "More than one way to skin a cat".

Lennette Newell | Naturalist fashion photographer
Naturalist fashion photographer Lennette Newell channels a lifelong passion for Earth’s biodiversity and the magical wonder of the natural world into compelling animal portraits that afford viewers an intimate glimpse of creatures large and small. Having grown up on the high plains of western Nebraska as the daughter of a veterinarian and cattleman, Lennette creates images that explore the innate connections between subject and photographer, the common ties between the world of humans and that of animals.
Newell’s black-and-white photographs are simultaneously stark in composition yet rich in detail. Again and again, the viewer comes face to face with animal subjects that display an unexpected emotionality that lends new insight into the inner lives of these creatures. As she explains, “This work is the result of my passion for the animal kingdom; it is a celebration of the unique spirit and character of each species. These images pay homage to our shared commonality”. Newell currently lives and works in northern California, where she is committed to fighting for environmental causes.
